Yes, I agree that Cowboy Troy looks better than his music sounds.....cowboy "rap" is just TOO FAR for even the most liberal country music fans, I think. Big-and-Rich's hard rock-tinged sound alone is even a far stretch for the country realm, even today, although they are receiving much more acceptance and praise now. When they first came out, Nashville was SHOCKED. I know that Troy is a very talented guy, but it just doesn't seem like there's a market for his sound. And that's even with John Rich's name & amazing song-writing reputation attached to it.

And as far as Jewel's new country album goes, I'm REALLY PUMPED for it now!! John Rich has had amazing success with his production and song-writing skills, and he is the 'IT' guy in Nashville these days. Jewel has gone to the right person for this album. This also pretty much confirms that Jewel is signed to Warner Brothers Nashville records, the home to Big-N-Rich, Faith Hill, The Wreckers, and Randy Travis to name a few.....
